The symposium caters to both practitioners and academics. For this purpose, the format of the submissions is divided into two categories, with different submission requirements. Please carefully read the Author Instructions listed here to ensure an accurate submission. All submissions will need to be submitted by December 21 (EXTENDED DEADLINE), 2025.

Authors will be notified of acceptance by January 21, 2026.

Practitioner Submissions

This category is intended for short papers that highlight practical ideas, real-world cases, and applied achievements.

  • Authors should submit an extended abstract of at least 2 pages in PDF format (this includes the methodology and references). The abstract should clearly summarize the scope of the paper, key results, and findings, with a focus on new advances, theories, and/or applications. This will help the program committee assess the originality and practical value of the submission. (Deadline: 21 December)
  • The abstract must also include a descriptive outline of the proposed paper to aid in evaluation.
  • Final manuscripts for accepted papers in this category will be limited to three pages. (Deadline: 22 February)

Academic Submissions

This category is intended for full-length manuscripts that present novel ideas, theoretical insights, technological developments, methodologies, or applications.

Authors may submit either:

  • A full manuscript of up to 8 pages, or
  • An extended abstract of at least 4 pages

Submissions must include a clear statement of contribution and should be structured to include the following elements:

  • Introduction
  • Background
  • Theoretical framework
  • Discussion of validation and results
  • Literature review

These components will help the program committee assess the technical depth, originality, and significance of the work. (Deadline: 21 December)

If accepted, the final version of the manuscript (taking into account reviewer comments) will be due by 22 February.

Submission Process

All submissions must be made through the EDAS IEEE SYSCON 2026 submission portal.

  • Authors may select only one topic area from the Call for Papers. An “Other” category is available if needed.
  • Submissions below the minimum length for their category will be automatically rejected.
  • Submission implies a commitment to register, attend, and present if accepted.

Initial paper submissions are due by December 21, 2025. If your submission is accepted, final papers are due by February 22, 2026.

Formatting & Templates

Use the official IEEE Style Manual and Templates when preparing your manuscript.

Accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore and indexed by EI Compendex.
